Third-Party Ticket Sales
Mad Cow Theatre does not work with or endorse any third-party ticket sellers except Groupon, Living Social, Goldstar, and On The List. We are not responsible for any purchases made through third-party ticket services. If a performance is cancelled or you missed your booking window and you purchased tickets via a third-party ticket operator, you must contact that business.
May I Sell My Ticket to Someone Else?
Resale or attempted resale of a ticket at a higher price than that appearing on the ticket is a violation of our policy and is grounds for seizure and cancellation without refund. If you have a ticket to a performance that you cannot use, please turn it back in to Patron Services. We will find you a show that you can use that ticket toward or get you some beverage tickets, or you may convert the ticket into a donation to the theatre.
Ticket Exchange and Refund Policy
All ticket sales are final, non-transferable, and non-refundable (Including subscriptions and gift certificates). Tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the originally ticketed show. All exchanges are subject to availability, and there is a $3.00 exchange fee per ticket. We regret that there are no refunds. If a performance is missed on the final weekend of a production or the remaining performances are sold out, patrons may choose to have the face value of the ticket credited for the next show or any performance in the current season. Account credit expires on the last performance of the current season. Season subscribers may exchange tickets at no charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled performance. Subscribers will be charged an exchange fee if their desired performance is after the first three weeks of a production's run.
What If A Show Is Canceled?
If a show is canceled, we will contact you and inform you of the procedure to follow in adjusting your purchase.
Inclement Weather Policy
If the show goes on even though the weather is poor, Mad Cow Theatre is not required to provide refunds or exchanges. If a performance is canceled, the theatre will make every effort to notify you of the procedure to follow in adjusting your ticket purchase.
Missed Performances Policy
Mad Cow Theatre will not offer compensation for performances missed due to a patron’s no-show by curtain time. If you are unable to make a performance due to an emergency, please call the Box Office at 407-297-8788 or email email@example.com. Tickets may be exchanged for a different performance of the same show for $2.50 per ticket.
Late Seating Policy
Mad Cow Theatre has a no-late-seating policy. Seating begins 30 minutes before curtain. For the safety of our performers and the benefit of fellow patrons, late seating is at the discretion of the house manager, and seating may not be in your original seats. You will be admitted at intermission if there is no appropriate time before. If the performance does not have an intermission, you may follow our exchange policy and see a different performance.
Leaving the theatre to use the restroom also follows the above policy.
If you need special seating, please tell the Patron Experience staff when purchasing your tickets. We try to ensure that your visit is easy and comfortable. If you buy your ticket online, please contact Patron Services by calling 407-297-8788 ext. 1 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Any seating requests, including sitting with another party, must go through the Patron Experience Staff. Our theatres are accessible; please notify us if you or someone in your party is traveling in a wheelchair.
Black Box Theatre Seating
Seating is not assigned at the time of purchase, but you may leave a comment in your ticket order to request specific seats. Seating charts are designed for each performance in the order of purchase, with the exceptions of special-needs patrons and subscribers. Seating requests are considered, but seats are assigned based on availability and in order of purchase.
Student and Service Identification
Any person under 18 is considered a student. If he or she has a student ID, it should be shown when the tickets are picked up at will call. University and college students must show ID at time of pickup if tickets were purchased at the student discount rate. Military and service should also show ID at time of pickup.
Waitlist and Pay-What-You-Wish Performances
Patrons may sign-up for the waitlist in the box office on the day a show is sold out. Each patron may sign up for only two tickets. Waitlist names will not be called any earlier than 15 minutes before curtain. You must be present at the time your name is called. If you are not present when your name is called, we will move on to the next name on the list. Both cash and credit card payments are accepted for the wait list. We regret we cannot take wait-list sign ups over the phone or email.
Pay-what-you-wish nights (on the Wednesday of the last week of each run) follow the same procedure as the waitlist. You may reserve a $25 seat in advance or you may pay what you wish at the door. Pre-sale tickets are limited. Pay-what-you-wish begins one hour before a 7 p.m. curtain. You may buy up to two tickets, based on availability, and you may name your price. Pay-what-you-wish tickets sell quickly and are first come, first served.
Photographs and Recordings
The performances you experience in our theaters, including the sets, lights, costumes, music, and sounds, represent the creative work of many artists. Out of respect for that work and consideration for fellow audience members and performers, it is prohibited to take any photographs, videos or other recordings during performances. Patrons who try to operate any type of recording device during a performance may be asked to leave the theater at the discretion of management and will be asked to delete any such recordings.
Mad Cow Theatre does not offer advisories about subject matter because sensitivities vary from person to person. While theatre does not have a rating system, Mad Cow productions typically would be rated PG-13 to R. For your convenience, each performance reminder will have a list of key themes.
Children under seven will not be permitted into the theatre unless noted for special events or performances. Most shows produced at Mad Cow Theatre are for mature audiences only and contain adult content and language that some parents of small children and other viewers may find questionable and are for mature audiences only. Some shows also use strobe lighting and fog effects, as well as "stage cigarettes" (tobacco-free and/or electronic) or the illusion of drinking or drug use. If you have questions about the content of a specific show or any effects used during a performance, please contact Patron Services before the performance so that we can provide you with detailed information before you buy tickets.
