Mad Cow holds open auditions each spring and summer for the coming season. Periodic auditions occur as needed during the year.

If you would like to receive information on auditions, please join our mailing list. When you are registering for the email list, be sure to select "classes and auditions list" from the options to the right. For Designers and Production Professionals:

Mad Cow Theatre seeks experienced directors, designers, stage managers, assistant stage managers, prop designers, scenic painters and technicians for its current and upcoming seasons. The below positions are open:

  • House Manager

    • The House Manager is responsible for all front-of-house duties including supervising volunteers, ushers, & staff in FOH areas. The House Manager will generally work Wednesday- Sunday afternoon through evening. The weekly schedule based upon the needs of the company
      and the programming during any given week. To apply please email with a cover letter and resume.
  • Box Office Associate
    • The Box Office Associate is responsible for answering calls and taking ticket orders, performing data entry and creating reports using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, performing other front of house and office duties as assigned, and assisting in all aspects of audience services during events.
  • Technical and Facilities Manager
    • The Technical & Facilities Manager is responsible for all technical and facility duties including building sets, hanging lights, inventory, and minor maintenance of theatre and warehouse facility. This position will generally work Monday-Friday from 10a-6pm with scheduled weekends for technical rehearsals and notes.

Mad Cow Theatre is committed to presenting new voices and producing original material. We gather scripts from a variety of theatre agents, arts organizations, and professional associates. Currently, we do not accept unsolicited submissions. Please check back for future opportunities.
