Downtown Orlando is filled with dining options—from New York-style pizza to fine dining and everything in between. There are more than two dozen restaurants just steps from the theatre. Here are a few places patrons tell us they love. We invite you to explore downtown and find your favorite place for a pre-show appetizer, lavish dinner, or exotic cocktail.
Our patrons spend lots of time here and tell us great stories about their meals with our downtown neighbors. Some restaurants give out discounts to our patrons. Ask your waiter at the start of your meal.
Kres Chophouse (ask about discounted valet parking), Hamburger Mary's (save 10% on your meal before or after the show), Amura Sushi, The Rusty Spoon, Ceviche, Artisan's Table, and Wahlburger's.
Many other great cafes and lounges are within walking distance as well.
There are several hotels near the theatre. We especially recommend the Hilton DoubleTree, which provides in-kind lodging for many of our artists each year.
Overlooking Lake Ivanhoe, this contemporary hotel off I-4 is a short drive to Mad Cow Theatre, and an area shuttle is free. Other amenities include a heated rooftop pool, a fitness room, and a restaurant.

Where Can I Park?
The Savings Choice (plus Cool Firetrucks!)
Pay $5-8 at Central Parking Garage, 53 W. Central Blvd., across from the BIG City of Orlando Fire Station #1. We have a special deal with this garage. Bring your parking ticket to the box office, get a validation sticker, and, voila, you get a big discount on your parking—usually, only five to eight bucks if there’s a big event downtown. Pro tip: If you see an attendant on the way into the parking lot, be sure to tell him or her you are going to Mad Cow Theatre.
The "Worried About the Weather" Choice
The SunTrust Center Garage, 25 W. South St. (1,041 spaces, 25 ADA-accessible; enter on South Street) and the 55 West Garage, 60 W. Pine St. (300 spaces, 9 ADA-accessible; enter on Pine Street) are nearby and feature covered walkways to the theatre. Leave your umbrella in the car! (Please note that Mad Cow does not validate for these garages but they are closer options.)
The Swanky Choice
Use valet parking on Church Street in front of Kres Chophouse, 17 W. Church St., near Orange Avenue. (Note: Valet parking is available only for evening performances). Again, be sure to get your ticket validated at Mad Cow. It’s usually $10, but it might be $15 during city events. AND if you stop at Kres for delicious pre-show or post-show goodies, you pay only $8-12 for parking. You can’t beat that deal!
What About Traffic?
Worried about traffic or Interstate 4 construction? We don't blame you. Check out the I-4 Ultimate website for the most up-to-date info on our favorite roadway. Don't forget to check your performance reminder for other parking, traffic, or street closure information.

There is a convenient Lymmo stop one block east of Mad Cow, at the corner of Orange Avenue and
