MAD COW ACTING FOR TEENAGERS ACT REAL Act Real originates in the "real world" of the student - today's headlines, music, films, books and current events that provide inspiration for a performance experience that the students create. Students will play with existing and original text, music, and movement along with other imaginative and theatrical forms. This work, coupled with a solid focus on basic acting skills, will provide students with self-assurance and confidence in their creative talent. An acting class for the novice and more experienced teen actor, Act Real is an adventure into finding out what's important to each student about theatre and about the world. SUMMER TEEN INTENSIVE #1

Mad Cow Theatre presents an intensive summer workshop for teenagers in grades 7 - 12. Geared for students with a great interest in developing strong skills in stage acting, these classes are led by members of Mad Cow's professional company and Resident Artists. Additional information on summer teen workshops will be available in early 2005. Interested students are encouraged to take one or both workshops. DETAILS Class size is strictly limited to ensure a quality learning experience. A strong commitment level to the class is necessary. Registration before the first class is required. A $50 nonrefundable payment holds your place in class. Tuition must be paid in full before the start of the first class. Requests to withdraw from the class must be given in writing to Mad Cow Theatre. Students who withdraw prior to the first class may receive 100% of the tuition refunded. Withdrawals made after the class begins and up to the 2nd class receive a 50% refund. Withdrawals after the 2nd class will not receive a refund.
