William Elliott has designed over
75 productio ns
during his career and many of them in the Central Florida area.
They include: The Sisters Rosensweig, The Nerd, West Side Story,
Dames At Sea and Road To Mecca at the Civic Theatres;
Hansel and Gretel, The Queen of Spades and Man
of La Mancha at Orlando Opera Company and I Hate Hamlet,
Move Over Mrs. Markham; and In The Well of the House
at The University of Central Florida. His credits with Mad Cow
Theatre include: Fool for Love, Blithe Spirit, Desdemona, Burn
This, The Glass Menagerie, The Cherry Orchard, Crimes of the Heart
and The Odd Couple. He has designed not only for theatre
and opera, but television, film corporate productions and theme
parks. Mr. Elliott is very happy to be working with Mad Cow and
considers it an honor and privilege to be working with such incredibly
talented people. He teaches stage design at Stetson University.
Rick Stanley is an actor, writer, director
and teacher. After a
twenty-year
career in theatre and as an award winning cabaret artist in New
York City, Rick returned to his native Orlando Florida where his
is now Resident Artist with Mad Cow Theatre Company. Mad Cow audiences
will remember his performances as Charles in Blithe Spirit,
as Miles in The Turn of the Screw, as Oscar Wilde
in Rick's original play Wilde on Wilde, as Gayev in The
Cherry Orchard, and as Felix Ungar in The Odd Couple.
Rick also directed Mad Cow's production of Eugene Ionesco's absurdist
classic The Chairs. Rick has been featured
in hundreds of national TV commercials and he starred in the Emmy
award winning PBS children's television show "The Reppies." Other
TV appearances include guest-starring roles on Nickleodeon's "All
That", "Keenan and Kel", and "The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo".
Rick also teaches acting for Mad Cow Theatre.
Trudy
Bruner is a founding member of Mad Cow
and continues a life-long dedication to theatre, the arts and
literature. Trudy has earned multiple degrees in Theatre, Drama,
Speech and English including an MFA from the University of Georgia.
As the Director of Theatre for Young People at the Civic Theatres
of Central Florida, she guided and produced several seasons of
productions serving thousands of children in the Central Florida
area. Trudy also wrote and adapted works for The Civic and as
their Director of Acting Studio managed a year round theatre school
offering classes and workshops for children and adults in the
dramatic arts. Her experience guiding young people is known to
many in the community from her many years as a beloved drama teacher
at Park Maitland School and now continues at Lake Highland. As
Co-Artistic Director of Mad Cow Theatre Trudy has directed
a body of critically acclaimed work including Burn This,
Fool for Love, On the Verge, Speed The Plow
and The Glass Menagerie. Her acting credits include Steel
Magnolias, Betrayal, Blithe Spirit, The Rainmaker
and The Lion in Winter in theatres located around the
country. She has also directed for Seminole Community College
and The Civic such works as The Real Inspector Hound, After
Magritte, The Miss Firecracker Contest, The Miracle
Worker, My Children, My Africa! and The Secret
Garden. Trudy was recently recognized by the National Foundation
for Advancement in the Arts for her exceptional work with students
and teaches at Lake Highland.
