Peg O'Keef as Mary Cavan Tyrone
Peg, a native Central Floridian, has had the great pleasure of working on many local stages throughout the past four decades. At Mad Cow, she has appeared in Our Town, Under Milk Wood,Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, The Year of Magical Thinking, A Delicate Balance, Happy Days, Last Fall, and August: Osage County. Recent performances elsewhere include Michael Wanzie’s Ladies of Eola Heights I andII, Annie Russell Theatre’s Our Town, John Ryan’s Something’s Weird in Weeki Wachee, and Beth Marshall Presents’ 33 Variations. Peg directed Mad Cow’s productions of Antigone and Venus in Fur. She resides at a grass airfield on the edge of the Green Swamp with her treasured husband, Andy Salter.
Adam Reilly as Edmund Tyrone
Adam is grateful to be returning to Mad Cow for a fourth time after having appeared in Clybourne Park, Photograph 51, and The History Boys. A graduate of Dr. Phillips High School, Adam studied acting at Carnegie Mellon University. He has been featured in the Los Angeles Philharmonic's Symphonies for Youth Audiences as Igor Stravinsky and appeared in the documentary Thespians on Showtime.
Julie Snyder as Cathleen
Julie is performing for the first time at Mad Cow Theatre. Favorite roles include Claire (Flight of the Earls), Berdine (Psycho Beach Party), Girl (Smooch), and Daisy (Biloxi Blues). Julie holds degrees in theatre and history from the College of William & Mary. When not onstage, Julie can be found entertaining the masses at Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World. Special thanks to that Guy in Smooch for his support and encouragement.
Kristian Truelsen* as James Tyrone
A dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada, Kris last mooed with Mad Cow 10 years ago in A Delicate Balance. Other stage appearances include the world premiere of The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz by Alan Menken and David Spencer (Segal Centre, Montreal), as Scrooge in a new musical adaptation of A Christmas Carol (Sudbury Theatre Centre) and as Max Prince in Laughter on the 23rd Floor (Patrick Street Productions/Talk Is Free), and in The Light in the Piazza (Persephone Theatre), The Sound of Music (Citadel Theatre), Anne of Green Gables(Charlottetown Festival), Kiss Me, Kate and Evita (Stratford Festival), My Fair Lady and The Man Who Shot Chance Delaney (Western Canada Theatre), Ah, Wilderness! (Chemainus Theatre Festival), and multiple shows with Orlando Shakespeare Theater and Orlando Theatre Project.
Gregg Weiner* as James Tyrone, Jr.
Gregg is grateful to make his Mad Cow and Orlando debut with this theatre classic. Some theatre credits: Red (GableStage and American Stage); Speed-the-Plow, The Pillowman, 50 Words, andDisgraced (GableStage); The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge (Actors’ Playhouse);Scott & Hem (Actors’ Playhouse/Red Barn Theatre); Dial M For Murder (Maltz Jupiter Theatre); and Dividing the Estate, A Doll’s House and That Championship Season (Palm Beach Dramaworks). TV/film: It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Transporter 2, Pain and Gain, and Magic City. Gregg has received numerous acting awards in South Florida and one in St. Petersburg this past year. He is a member of AEA and has a BFA from New World School of the Arts.
