Meet the cast of My Name Is Asher Lev!
Brian Brightman* as The Man
Brian remembers being a senior in high school and
lying in a cedar box playing a dead body for Arsenic and Old Lace, his first show. Surviving that moment and all the others (bumping into furniture, forgetting lines and wearing too much eye liner) have led him on a winding path from working as a deck hand on Puget Sound, Seattle, to falling asleep in the back row of an empty Radio City Music Hall where he was working as an usher, to being a Census taker in Los Angeles... oh and some acting thrown in along the way. Thank you to Mitzi and Mad Cow, Lauren O'Quinn and the most beautiful woman in the world, Michelle.
Michael Frishman* as Asher Lev
Michael Frishman is a 2015 MFA graduate of Florida State University’s Asolo Conservatory. He is thrilled to make his debut at Orlando’s Mad Cow Theatre. Other credits include: Both Your Houses (Asolo Repertory
Theatre), Our Town (Williamstown
Theatre Festival), Titus Adronicus (Nebraska Shakespeare Festival), and A Midsummer’s Night Dream (The Theater
at Monmouth). He would like to thank his family and Cutlet for their love and
support.
Sara Oliva* as The Woman
Sara is honored to be making her Mad Cow debut. Chicago credits include Northlight Theatre, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Bailiwick Repertory, Mary-Arrchie Theatre, Lifeline Theatre, The Artistic Home, Chicago Dramatists, and many others.
