The Mountaintop plays Thursdays - Sundays, February 14 - March 16, 2014 in The Black Box Theatre.

All tickets are $35.75. Curtain time is 8:00pm for all evening performances and 3:00pm for all matinees.

Pay What You Wish performance on Wednesday, March 12 at 8:00pm. Advance tickets are sold out. A percentage of the house will be held for sale at the door on Pay What You Wish night along with any remaining unsold tickets. Sales begin one hour before curtain, first come first served. Memphis - April 3, 1968. A gripping, re-imagining of the events taking place the night before the assassination of Civil Rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. After delivering his magnificent and memorable “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop” speech, an exhausted and defeated Dr. King retires to Room 306 at the Lorraine Motel where he encounters a mysterious and spirited stranger as an epic storm rages outside.

Playwright Katori Hall won the 2010 Olivier Award for this new play hailed as “soul-stirring and eye-opening” by The Daily News.

Felichia Chivaughn as Camae	Felichia studied theatre at the UCF Conservatory. Central Florida stage credits include: The Piano Lesson (Berniece), directed by Woodie King Jr., and Beth Marshall Presents: A Christmas Carol (Belle) directed by John Didonna. She also starred in Breakthrough Theatre’s For Colored Girls Who Havee Considered Suicide… (Lady in Green), GOAT’s Aida (Nehebkah), UCF’s Doubt: A Parable (Mrs. Muller), From Sun to Sun (Ju’el), Paris Crayton’s Laying (Stephanie Dugood) and Sacha on Broadway (Sacha). Felichia writes and directs stage and film projects locally and is the Creative Arts Director at Great Faith Church in Sanford, FL. She is thankful for the overwhelming support from friends and family and is proof that all things are possible if you believe.


Clinton Harris as Dr. Martin Luther King,Jr.	Clinton is delighted to be working with Mad Cow Theatre and this dynamic cast and crew. A native of Atlanta, Clinton is a graduate of Tri Cities High School’s VPA magnet program, an alumnus of the Freddie Hendricks Youth Ensemble of Atlanta, and was a theatre major Albany State University. Clinton has toured internationally as a background vocalist for several recording artists. Currently, Clinton performs in Disney’s Finding Nemo: The Musical. Other credits include: Standing On Ceremony, Full Monty, Rent, Hair, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, Black Nativity, Soweto, Soweto A Township is Calling, Suzan-Lori Parks’s 365 Days: 365 Plays series, Dreamgirls, Jackie and Me, and Driving Miss Daisy. Clinton is a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association.

Stephan Jones- Director	This marks Stephan’s second production in this capacity here in the pasture. Last year he added the moniker of director (Twelve Angry Men) to: actor (17 productions, including Sweeney Todd and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf), fight director (13 productions, including Les Liaisons Dangereuses, and Romeo and Juliet), cabaret artist (Mating Rituals 101, It Was a Very Good Year/Yule series), and instructor, spanning a 12-year love affair with the Cows. This also marks his most wordy bio to date.
