2018 Science Play Festival

Feb 23-25, 2018

Navigating the worlds of science, technology, and history through imaginative stories, the 5th annual Science Play Festival features staged readings followed by moderated talkbacks with the cast and experts from related scientific fields. In 2014, Mad Cow Theatre's first Science Play Festival burst onto the scene with standing-room-only performances in the Zehngebot-Stonerock Theatre. This year's festival will take place in The Harriett and features four play readings exploring the many intersections between art and science. If you are a Science Play Festival Fan, Silent Sky, based on the true stories of Herrietta Swan Leavitt, was read at the festival last year, and is playing a fully realized production in The Zehngebot-Stonerock Theatre during the festival for tickets to that production click here.
