Mass Appeal

December 7 - December 30, 2012

Mass Appeal is the story of Mark Dolson, a seminary student, and his mentor, Father Tim Farley. As a student and newly appointed deacon, Mark is faced with what he feels are hypocrisies in the Catholic faith. Mark is sent to Father Tim to help him explore his own faith, to find what he truly believes in and what it is about his faith that is most important to him. As the story progresses, Mark turns the tables a bit and encourages Father Tim to take a much deeper look at his faith and beliefs.
Written in 1981, this touching comedy was nominated for a Tony Award and was subsequently adapted by Davis into a 1984 film. Mass Appeal had a long and critically hailed Broadway run.
