MARKETING MANAGER

  

Mad Cow Theatre, Orlando’s most progressive professional theater company, is seeking a full-time Marketing Manager who will broaden its audience and increase revenue by creating and implementing innovative marketing strategies.

 

Mad Cow, now in its 19th season, presents 10 plays and musicals each year at its new theater in downtown Orlando. The Marketing Manager is responsible for meeting annual subscription and single-ticket sales goals by resourcefully managing promotion and publicity in a growing market.

 

Key duties include developing and executing marketing plans for each season and for individual productions; managing the theater’s website and overseeing the production of marketing materials; creating and maintaining social media campaigns;  promoting productions through news media; collaborating with other managers to forecast revenue; and providing communications support for company initiatives. The Marketing Manager reports to the theater’s Executive Director.

 

Requirements are:

  • At least three years of full-time marketing experience in the arts, preferably in a theater or other performing-arts organization. The ideal candidate will have a background in direct ticket sales as well as in the marketing of productions.

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field. 
  •  
  • A record of consistently increasing single-ticket and subscription revenue.
  •  
  • Excellent writing skills as demonstrated by print and/or online marketing materials. Design and website management experience are preferred.
