Clases de Teatro with Eliana Stratico

Mad Cow Theatre is seeking Spanish speakers interested in theatre! Learn to combine the Spanish language with theatre in this exciting workshop taught by bilingual educator Eliana Stratico. Participants should be able to speak intermediate Spanish; however, no theatre experience is required.

 

In this 6 - hour workshop participants will be introduced to theatrical exercises and games. Students will learn tools to explore and develop their expressiveness through theatre, using the Spanish language to communicate.  The workshop is for bilingual actors or intermediate to advance students of Spanish, with or without theatrical experience.

 


  Eliana Stratico received her degree of Actríz Nacional (BA in Acting) from the Instituto Universitario Nacional del Arte of Argentina and her Master of Education degree from Northeastern University. Since 1996 she has been active as an actress, director, playwright, and acting teacher, in Buenos Aires and Boston. She has experience teaching undergraduate level Spanish classes and developing Spanish through the arts curriculums from middle school to professional development workshops for Spanish teachers and lecturers. Who Should Attend? This workshop is for bilingual actors or intermediate to advanced students of Spanish, with or without theatrical experience. 

 

Registration: There is no fee to register for this class. These classes are free and open to the public. To register arrive at the door to the Cypress room at 1:15pm on the day of the class. There are up to 20 slots available per session. It is suggested that you participate in both classes but it is not required.
